Jack Zhang is CEO and co-founder of Airwallex. He founded Airwallex with a vision to build the economic infrastructure to empower modern businesses to grow beyond borders. Today Airwallex operates in over 100 countries, and processes over $100B in payment volume every year.

Chris leads Capital 49’s investment strategy. Chris began his career as an investment banker. After stints in private equity and as an operator, he joined Softbank’s Vision Fund. Most recently, Chris led fintech and SaaS investing at Obvious Ventures where he invested in companies like Medable, Synop, and Brightside.

Kai Wu is the Global Chief Revenue Officer for Airwallex. Prior to joining Airwallex, he held various roles at the Boston Consulting Group, advising on investments in China's top Fintech companies, and worked at Bertelsmann Asia Investments, focusing on investments in the TMT and Fintech sectors.
